Pawgnosis

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Digital Source ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Pawgnosis mobile application and any related services. Please read them before using the app. By downloading, installing, or using Pawgnosis, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Pawgnosis is a record-keeping tool. It lets you log symptoms, medications, vaccinations, vet visits, photos, and notes for the animals in your care, review that history over time, and export it as a summary you can bring to your veterinarian.
Pawgnosis is not a veterinary service and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing in the app is a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed veterinarian. Never delay seeking professional care, or disregard advice you have received from a veterinarian, because of something you read in Pawgnosis.
If your pet is in distress or you believe the situation is an emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not use this app to decide whether an emergency requires attention.
Dr. Paws is an in-app chat feature that generates written responses using artificial intelligence. It is provided for general information and to help you organize and think about what you have recorded.
Because Dr. Paws is generated by a language model, its responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inapplicable to your pet's circumstances. It does not know anything about your pet beyond what you have entered, it cannot examine your animal, and it cannot identify what is wrong. Do not rely on it to make decisions about your pet's health, medication, or care. Treat its output as a prompt for conversation with your veterinarian, never as a replacement for one.
By using Dr. Paws you consent to your messages and the associated pet context being processed by our AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pawgnosis, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Pawgnosis only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Pawgnosis accounts are created by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account you sign in with, and for all activity that occurs under your Pawgnosis account. Tell us promptly at adrian@digitalsource.store if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
The records you create in Pawgnosis — your pet profiles, entries, notes, and photos — remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the app and provide the features you use, including sending relevant context to our AI provider when you use Dr. Paws. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for the content you upload, and you confirm you have the right to upload it.

Pawgnosis offers a free tier and a paid subscription, Pawgnosis Pro. The free tier includes one pet profile, unlimited symptom, medication, and vaccination logging, and a limited number of Dr. Paws messages. Pawgnosis Pro unlocks additional pet profiles, PDF export for veterinary visits, and Dr. Paws with full conversation history. Current pricing and plan options are shown in the app before you purchase.
Pawgnosis Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price disclosed at purchase.
Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period.
Purchases made through the App Store are billed by Apple to your Apple Account. You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue them directly. Requests should be made to Apple.
We may change subscription pricing. Any change will apply to future billing periods, and you will be notified in advance as required by the App Store.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice before removing a feature that materially affects a paid plan. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Pawgnosis, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by Digital Source and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.
PAWGNOSIS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES — INCLUDING DR. PAWS RESPONSES — IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PET'S CIRCUMSTANCES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIGITAL SOURCE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF PAWGNOSIS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY HARM TO AN ANIMAL ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON INFORMATION IN THE APP OR FROM DELAY IN SEEKING VETERINARY CARE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO PAWGNOSIS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE UNITED STATES DOLLARS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Digital Source and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Pawgnosis, your content, or your breach of these terms.
You may stop using Pawgnosis and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
These terms are between you and Digital Source only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for Pawgnosis or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or discharging any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and Digital Source agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or Pawgnosis will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court, and it does not deprive you of any protection under the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give notice in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Pawgnosis after a revision takes effect means you accept it.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Digital Source regarding Pawgnosis. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
